Good information. I have a hard time understanding some people disregarding the age & health of a pet. To me, if you really love the pet, be it a dog or cat, you'd want to have help finding it a new home to live out its life. I've made arrangements for our dog to go to a couple I know would love to have him if something suddenly happened to us. He loves them & they love him. It also saddens me to hear of such a high suicide rate among vets.
