I found this video very interesting. I have a 1 yr. old GR who doesn't have runny diarrhea but has what we've aptly named "pudding poops". :) He also has small red looking "bites" in his groin area fairly cosistently but has never had fleas. At times they develop a bacterial infection & need meds. We think he may have allergies, but to what? Allergy testing is so very expensive. I'm wondering if I should try the raw food to see if it would help. Do you think it could be food allergies? We changed his puppy kibble from Acana to Nutram but no difference really. I'm certainly not asking for a veterinary diagnosis, just your thoughts. Than…

You don't need allergy testing for a food allergy. It actually doesn't work well for it. Best to use an elimination diet (a proper one) to find out how your dog does.
What you describe does suggest allergy. We just don't know what type.
